LOOKING BACK TO THE LASER WORLD OF PHOTONICS TRADE FAIR
Because laser welding is required to deliver ever-better quality in ever-shorter times, the technology must also continue to evolve. The Laser World of Photonics trade fair is focused on laser technologies, welding, cutting, ultrashort-pulse lasers and all kinds of things. It’s spread out across multiple halls and is packed with leading tech companies. What innovations are available on the market? How do they work? And what special features do they offer?

The popular influencer, known as Igor Welder, visited the Thermacut and Abicor Binzel booths, where he conducted an interview with the product managers. Ingo Hollberg, Global Product Manager for Laser Cutting and the company’s main brand ambassador gave a brief introduction to laser cutting technology.
He also gained exciting insights into the world of laser welding, including sensor technology, process monitoring and ultrashort laser pulses that can be used to process glass. But how can these high-intensity laser beams be guided through glass fibres without melting the material? We offer you a short video with our laser expert from Thermacut, looking back to the Laser World of Photonics trade fair.
Watch this great interview with Igor Welder and Ingo Hollberg from Thermacut!
At the Thermacut stand, he presented the new generation of EX-TRABEAM laser cutting heads: The EX-TRABEAM® BASIC, the EX-TRABEAM® HP12, the EX-TRABEAM® XP60 and the EX-TRABEAM® ZOOM. All of these heads provide maximum performance, process reliability and easy maintenance.
