Company introduction: M P M Tech s.r.o.

The M P M Tech company specialises mainly in the steel construction productions and their assembly. It is mainly the production of prefabricated halls, or various industrial buildings. The company is focused on the production of railings, portals, or noise barriers, and is also experienced in the production of supporting structures for bridges, roads and various culverts.

They are also able to produce any additional locksmith’s products or any other stainless steel and aluminium products, whatever their customers’ requirements. In addition to these activities, they also carry out general construction work. Their latest project is the steel masts production for telecommunications.

What was the customer’s problem and what are the benefits of his new in-house cutting facility?

Read what Martin Markovič says himself: “Until we came to Thermacut, we always ordered all our metal cutting from an external supplier. We usually cut materials from 3 millimetres up to 40 millimetres of mild steel. We have been using the EX-TRACK® CNC for 3 years now and it has been a huge benefit. Thermacut has helped us to be more efficient with the EX-TRACK®CNC. Before, production planning required a lot of preparation in advance. We could not afford to forget anything. Today, since we have our own machine, we are much more flexible. If we forget something in production and find that we need a certain part, we can just draw it and have it cut.  Basically, within two or three hours we have a workpiece ready to work with.

Earlier, when we gave it to an external supplier, we had to draw it first and give them the drawings. Because the supplier had had his own production programme, we often had to wait some time, so it could take about two or three days, which sometimes became a problem for us. Now it’s all done in a matter of hours.”
